Barbara Ann Krueck, 74, Life-long Area Resident
Barbara Ann Krueck (nee: Vollmer), 74 years of age, and a resident of New Russia Township, passed away Monday, June 18, 2007 at New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain following a two-year illness.She was born February 2, 1933 in Amherst where she was raised and graduated from Amherst High School in 1951. She has been a resident of New Russia Township for the last fifty years.
She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Amherst. Barbara’s life centered on her family and she enjoyed gardening with her husband.
Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Joseph Martin Krueck; her son, Donald Joseph of South Amherst; and her sister, Edna Berry of Amherst.
She was preceded in death by her parents George, in 1969, and Frieda Vollmer (nee: Berger), in 1974; and by her brother George in 1980.
Services and burial will be held privately by the family.
