Herminia "Minnie" Montes, 78, Once Worked for Marshals Drug Store in Lorain

She was born December 31, 1928 in Lorain. She moved to Detroit after she was married.

She worked for Marshals Drug Store in Lorain and for the Detroit City School System.

Among the survivors are her son Louis Montes of Detroit; brothers, Enrique Ramirez of Lorain, Joseph Ramirez of Elyria, Jesse Ramirez of Marysville, Tennessee and Max Ramirez of Sequin, Texas; sister Mary Munoz of Lorain; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Angel Montes in 1982; son David Montes in 1977; her parents Maximino and Maria (nee: Silva Ramirez); brothers Charles Ramirez and Fredrick Ramirez; sisters Mary Rios Jacinto and Huberta "Berta" Harmon.

Funeral mass was Saturday, June 23, 2007 in Ste. Anne De Detroit Catholic Church, Detroit. Burial was in St. Hedwig Cemetery & Mausoleum, Dearborn Heights, MI.
