Antonia Jolob, 83, Seamstress

She was born March 3, 1924 in Randowka, Russia. She escaped from Russia in 1943. She immigrated to Lorain from Germany in 1950. In 1962 she moved to Cleveland and lived there for 40 years. 2002 she came to Amherst to live close to her niece.
Mrs. Jolob was employed as a seamstress for Joseph and Feiss, Lorain.
She was a member of Saint Sergius of Radonezh Russian Orthodox Church Cathedral, Parma and Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Lorain. She was a member of the Saint Sergius Choir and active in church functions. She enjoyed gardening and tending her flowers.
Among the survivors are her caregiver and niece Olga Sivinski of Amherst and other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 Years Stefan Jolob in 1991, her parents Semion and Maria (nee Prezowa) Lenkow; sisters Zinaida Kazimirow and Warwara Karatkow and a brother Ivan Lenkow.
Friends may call Friday, July 6, 2007, 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 2238 East 32nd Street, Lorain, Ohio. Where parastas service will be Friday Night at 7:30 PM in the church. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 7, 2007, 10:00 AM in the church. Reverends Archpriest Basil Stoyka, Pastor and Peter Burlakov pastor of Sergius of Radonezh Russian Orthodox Church Cathedral, Parma will officiate. Burial will follow in Saint Theodosius Cemetery, Brooklyn, Ohio.
