Mildred Guzik, 83, Enjoyed Bridge & Family

She was born September 29, 1923 in Lorain where she has been a life long resident until moving to Medina 4 years ago. She also wintered in St. Petersburg, FL.
She worked in the accounting department at US Steel Works, Lorain and WT Grant and Co. Five and Dime Store, Lorain.
She graduated from Nativity BVM grade School and Lorain High School, class of 1941.
She was a member of the Cosmopolitan Club, Lorain and the Medina Senior Center. She enjoyed bridge, family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Guzik of Lorain, Ronald Guzik of Medina, and Robert Guzik of Chagrin Falls; 5 grandchildren; and a nephew.
Preceding her in death were her husband Jack G. Guzik in 2000, parents, Peter and Caroline Karpiel, and sister, Theresa Graziano.
Friends may call Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 6-9 pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home 1939 Oberlin Ave.
Prayers will be said at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 9:30 am followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church 418 W. 15th Street Lorain. Fr. David Novak, pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
