William P. "Yoz" Yozwiak, 56, Worked for US Steel Works

He was born March 8, 1951 in Youngstown, OH and has been a Lorain resident for the past 20 years. He was a graduate of Youngstown State.
He worked for US Steel Works, Lorain and Youngstown for 37 years, retiring in 2006. He had been a member of St. Brendan Church, Youngstown and was a member of the United Steel Workers Union, Lorain. He enjoyed boating, airplane shows, cars, and loved his cat Max.
Survivors include his sisters, Lynda Cruickshank of Youngstown and Marsha
Croft of Courtland, OH and several nieces and a nephew.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Edward P. and Stephenie (nee: Kohut) Yozwiak and brother Edward M. Yozwiak in 2000.
Friends may call Tuesday, July 17, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Brendan Church, 2800 Oakwood Ave. Youngstown, OH 44509, with Father James Daprile officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
