Luis A. Molina, Sr., 86, Member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 1104 of Lorain

Photo of Luis A. Molina, Sr. Luis A. Molina, Sr. 86 of Lorain, died Saturday, July 14, 2004 in University Hospital following a sudden illness.

He was born July 3, 1921 in Lares, Puerto Rico. He came to Lorain in 1948.

Mr. Molina retired in 1982 from the Store Department of Lorain- Cuyahoga Works of United States Steel, Lorain. He worked there for 36 Years.

He was a member Sacred Heart Chapel Lorain and the church's Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the United Steel workers Union Local 1104 of Lorain. He enjoyed walking at the mall and Oakwood Park. He used to exercise at the Y. M. C. A., Lorain. He also enjoyed spending time wit his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Among the survivors are his wife of 55 years Edna M. (nee Torres) Molina of Lorain; sons Luis A. Molina, Jr., Richard M. Molina and Ellis R. Molina all of Lorain; daughter Nilsa (nee Molina) Martinez of Lorain; half sister Mirta Molina of Bayamon, Puerto Rico; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday, July 17, 2007, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2007 with closing prayers at the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, South Lorain. Reverend, Father William A. Thaden, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
