Jean Robishaw, 75, Enjoyed Gardening & Dancing

Jean Robishaw (nee Crammond), 75 of Vermilion, died Thursday, July 26, 2007 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain after a 22 month battle with cancer.

She was born March 10, 1932 in Oldham, England. She immigrated to the USA in 1957 with her husband and daughter and lived in Cleveland, Lakewood and North Ridgeville. She returned to the UK with her husband in 1982 when he retired from Ford Motor Company. After the death of her mother, they returned to the USA and became residents of Vermilion in 1997. She has been a resident of Vermilion since then.

She had worked at Pandy’s Garden Center and Forthover's Garden Center and enjoyed gardening, dancing, sewing, crafts, and crossword puzzles. She and her husband was member of the Tam-O-Shanter dancing club for many years attending dances regularly.

Survivors include her daughter, Julie Dawn Robishaw of Vermilion and estranged daughter Lesley Allyson Tett and 2 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, of 48 years, Jack Robishaw, Dec. 5, 2002 and her parents, Harry and Sarah (nee Wells) Crammond.
