Mary E. Ray, 71, School Secretary
Mary E. Ray (nee Neundorfer), 71 of Vermilion, died Sunday, July 29, 2007 at her home, after a lengthy illness.
She was born August 23, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 45 years moving from Cleveland.
She worked as a school secretary for the Vermilion Schools for 31 years.
She enjoyed counted cross stitch and traveling.
Survivors include her sons, Donald E. Ray of Elyria, and Gary A. Ray of Olmsted Falls; sisters, Evelyn Wiese, and Rose Grasson both of Brecksville; and brother, Frank Neundorfer of Maryland.
Preceding her in death were her husband Donald E. Ray in 1996, a sister, Nancy Neundorfer, parents, Frank and Bernice (nee Brezina) Neundorfer, and a brother, George Neundorfer.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion, OH 44089. Rev. Louis Bertoni will officiate.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mary Ray Scholarship Fund, 610 State Street, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
