Elizabeth A. Fitch-DeMiere, 64, Was Always Helping Others

Elizabeth A. Fitch-DeMiere (nee Woskobunik), 64, of Lorain, died Wednesday August 22, 2007 at her home after a 2 � year fight with cancer.

She was born November 16, 1942 in Brownton, West Virginia and had resided in the Lorain/Elyria area most of her life.

Betty worked as a Nurses Aide at the Lutheran Home of Concord Reserves in Westlake for 20 years retiring in 2007. Prior to that she worked at McGarvey’s Restaurant in Vermilion for nearly 20 years.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elyria Township and enjoyed gardening, crafts, bingo and helping others. She will always be remembered for her caring nature.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 5 years Paul DeMiere, daughter Traci Cleary (nee Fitch), son Donald Fitch, daughters Stephanie Burgett (nee Fitch) and Debra Fitch, son Christopher Fitch and stepdaughter Paulette Trexler (nee DeMiere) all of Ohio, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister Sheryn Serback and brothers John Michael Woskobunik, Paul Woskobunik, Joseph Woskobunik and Anthony Woskobunik. She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Elizabeth Woskobunik (nee Rusnak), a grandson, brother Sonny Woskobunik and sister JoAnn West and Shirley Woskobunik.
