Lillian Muskovich, 84, Active at Holy Trinity Church
Lillian Muskovich (nee Pena), 84, of Lorain, died Sunday September 9, 2007 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a brief illness.She was born May 20, 1923 in Houston, Texas and had resided in the Lorain area all of her life.
Lillian worked as a presser at Crystal Clear Dry Cleaners in Lorain. During World War II she worked at US Steel in Lorain.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lorain, the church Altar & Rosary Society and Women’s Guild and was a volunteer in the kitchen at church functions.
Lillian enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon Majer of Wakeman, Jeanne Gibbs of Lorain and Pamela Mann of Elyria, sons Edward Muskovich of Lorain and Glenn Muskovich of Wakeman, 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and sister Grace Velasquez of Vermilion. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward S. Muskovich in 2004, parents Fred Pena, Sr and Elizabeth Pena (nee Deshotel), brothers Alfred Pena, William Pena and Fred Pena, Jr and sister Lydia Camacho.
The family will receive friends Friday 4-8 PM at the Gluvna Shimo Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where the Holy Trinity Altar & Rosary Society will recite the rosary Friday at 4:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2428 Elyria Ave., Lorain. The Rev. David A. Novak, pastor, will officiate. Private family committal services will be held in the mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
