Cara Sue Whorton, 66, Teacher's Assistant

She was born August 1, 1941 in Moundsville, WV, and was a Vermilion resident since 1954.
She was employed at Vermilion Public School System as a respected teacher’s assistant. Cara’s interests and passions include gardening, interior decorating, day trips and especially, all things family.
Survivors include her husband, Robert H. Whorton; sons, Mark D. Whorton of Boonton, NJ and, Joseph D. Whorton of Lorain; 4 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild and a brother, Jack Patrick Holland of Columbus.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Jack and Betty (nee Jefferson Holland) and her step father, Carl Nay.
Friends may call Monday, Sept 17, 2007 at the Church of the Nazarene, 14907 Kneisel Road, Vermilion, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. The Pastor David Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Nazarene.
