John L. Reising, 78, Enjoyed Traveling & Camping

He was born July 17, 1929 in Vermilion where he has been a life long resident.
He worked 30 years as a Truck Driver for Chapin Truck Lines, Elyria and retired in 1987.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational, Vermilion and Teamsters Union #571. He enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, and volunteering at the Food Pantry.
Survivors include his sons, Jon and Karen Reising of Vermilion, and Rudy and Joli Reising of Vermilion, 4 grandchildren, brothers: David Reising of Lorain, Marlin Reising of Haines City, FL, and Theodore Reising of Norwalk; sisters, Kathleen Miller of Jenson Beach, FL, and Juanita Gundlach of Norwalk, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Patricia Reising in May of this year, parents, Albert and Daisy (nee Kennedy) Reising, brother, Sylvester Reising, sisters, LaVern Brown, Clarice Wallace, and Elvira Baker, and a grandson, Sean Alan Reising.
A graveside service will be held prior to the memorial service on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007 at 10:00 am at Brownhlem Cemetery, Vermilion. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at the United Church of Christ Congregational, 990 State Street, Vermilion with Rev. Wendell Brooker officiating.
