Patricia 'Patti' Murray, 51, Collector for HD Sloan Enterprises

She was born September 17, 1956 in Lorain and has been a life long resident of the area.

She worked for 30 years as a Collector for HD Sloan Enterprises, Lorain. She also worked as the activities director for Amherst Manor and Lorain Manor, and had her own carry out business, Patti's Kitchen.

She was an active member of the church her husband pastors', Liberty In Jesus Church, Lorain. She enjoyed camping and loved baby sitting, spending time with her family, and being kind to others.

Survivors include her husband of 21 years D.J. Murray, sons, John and David Murray of Lorain; daughters, Christina Murray of Lorain, and Claudette Murray of, New Britain, CT; 10 grandchildren; sister, Connie Hicks (nee Parker) of Lorain; 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and 4 great-nieces. Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Edna (nee Burger) Parker.

Friends may call Tuesday, October 2, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Monday officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
