Terry George Knapp, 37, Warehouse Supervisor
Terry George Knapp, 37, of Lorain, died Saturday October 6, 2007 at Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain after a sudden illness.
He was born February 13, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio and had resided in Lorain since 1992.
George worked at Gergely’s Maintenance King in Lorain as a warehouse supervisor and driver for 4 years. Prior to that he worked as a truck driver for R & J Trucking in Lorain.
He enjoyed fishing, bowling and music.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years Jeanne M. Knapp (nee Wysocky), daughter Amanda Wysocky, son Terry Wysocky and daughter Cassandra Knapp, all of Lorain, 2 grandchildren Lauren “Cuteness” Knapp-Ellis and JJ “Wee Man” LaPash, both of Lorain, twin brother Gary Knapp of Columbus and brothers Chris Knapp, David Knapp and Jeff Knapp, all of Columbus and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard William Knapp and Mariam Frances Knapp (nee King) and sister Sherri Raver.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 9, 2007, from 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Bob Daugherty will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
