Becky Butcher, 51, Enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles

Photo of Becky  Butcher Becky Butcher (nee Tolson) 51 of Lorain, died Monday, October 15, 2007 in Saint John West Shore Hospital in Westlake following an lengthy illness.

Becky was born May 30, 1956 in Thornton, Kentucky. She came to Lorain in 1979.

She had been employed as a home health aide for 10 years. Previous to that she worked for S. B. S. Transit in Sheffield Village as a bus monitor for 6 years and Lorain Products for 8 years. She also worked as a bartender at Jack and Dianne's in Lorain.

She was a member of the Church of God in Sheffield Village. She was also
a member of the Moose Club 552 in and The Croatian Club both of Lorain.
She participated in dart and pool leagues. She collected porcelain
dolls. She enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Among the survivors are her son Shawn Butcher of Lorain and a daughter
Shannon Otero of Lorain, brothers Hubert Tolson of Kite, Kentucky and
Scott Tolson of Pikeville, Kentucky; sisters Essie Johnson and Judy
Carpenter both of Kite, Kentucky, Emma Tolson of Romulus, Michigan,
Clara Hamilton of Pikeville, Kentucky and Sherry Toler of Middleton,
Ohio; and 3 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Emory in 1984 and Billie Jean
(nee Varner) Tolson in 1980 and a sister Janice Tolson in 1965.

Friends may call Thursday, October 18, 2007, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00
to 8:00 p.m. in the Midway Baptist Church, 41812 Griswold Road, Elyria.
The funeral service will be Friday, October 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the
church. The Reverend Charles A. Keesee, Pastor will officiate. Burial
will follow Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Richard J. Reidy
Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain.
