Louise E. Rotuno Jr., 49, Enjoyed Camping & Sports

Photo of Louise E. Rotuno Jr. Louis E. Rotuno, Jr., 49 of Lorain, died Sunday, October 21, 2007 in Lake Pointe Health Center, Lorain after a lengthy illness.

He was born January 8, 1958 in Newcastle, PA and has been a Vermilion area resident since 1969. He was a 1976 graduate of Midview High School. He graduated from Kent State University and attended Wright State University where he was a member of the wheelchair basketball team.

He worked as the assistant manager for the Convenient Food Mart in Lorain until 1983. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion and enjoyed camping, golfing, bowling, and was an avid sports fan, especially Cleveland teams.

Survivors include his mother, Florence (nee Adamczyk) Rotuno, of Vermilion, brothers: Mark Rotuno of Vermilion, Timothy Rotuno of Elyria, and Charles Rotuno of Wooster; sisters, Claire Elaine Burger of Vermilion, and Rosemary Johnson of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his father Louis Rotuno, Sr in 1996.

Friends may call Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion, OH. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday October 25, 2007 at 11:00 am followed by an 11:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church 731 Exchange St. Vermilion, with Rev. Jim Holmer Officiating. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Amherst.
