Marilyn T. Renusi, 66, Attended Notre Dame College in South Euclid

Marilyn T. Renusi, (nee Tomsic), age 66, of Westlake, and formerly of Lorain, died Thursday November 8, 2007 at the Lutheran Home due to complications of Multiple Sclerosis.

She was born in Lorain on June 17, 1941. Marilyn was a graduate of Lorain High School as a member of the Class of 1959. She went on to attend Notre Dame College in South Euclid and also completed a business curriculum at the Dyke & Spenserian College, Cleveland.

Ms. Renusi was formerly employed as a legal secretary in Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties.

Survivors include her step-mother Anne A. Tomsic (nee Tomazin) of Avon, sisters Mrs. A. Howard (Barbara) Stouges, Jr. of Fairview Park and Mrs. Michael (Bernardine) Basile of Roanoke, Virginia, brother John E. Tomsic, Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska, sons Timothy of Elyria and Michael Manzo of Amherst, two grandchildren, one uncle, 2 aunts, and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father John E. Tomsic, Sr. in 1994, by her mother Mary (nee Evansco) Tomsic in 1955, and by her first step-mother Anna (nee Evansco) Tomsic in 1972.

Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.

A memorial mass will be conducted Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 1705 East 31st Street, Lorain. Those attending are asked to gather at the church. The Reverend Paul Krajnik, Pastor of the parish will preside. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
