James E. Morrison, 67, Loved Boating & Travel

James E. Morrison, 67, of Lorain, died Friday, November 9, 2007 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain after a one year illness.

He was born December 21, 1939 in Lorain and was a life long resident.

He worked at B.F. Goodrich/Noveon as a lab technician and retired in 2002.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Lorain and loved boating, foreign travel, amusement parks, gardening, reading, and taking care of his fish pond.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Morrison (nee Nowicki):, sons, Ken Morrison of Lorain, Ed Morrison of O'Fallon, IL, Jim Morrison of Vermilion, and Bryan Morrison of Amherst; 2 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Edward and Angelious (nee Engel) Morrison.

Friends may call Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin, Ave., Lorain, Ohio 44053. Prayers will be said Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 West 8th Street, Lorain, Ohio. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
