Richard W. "Ricky" Stull, 32, Eastern Freightways Driver
Richard W. Ricky Stull, Jr., age 32, of Elyria, died Monday December 3, 2007 from injuries sustained in a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 71 in Morrow County.
He was born in Lorain on September 25, 1975; he attended Saint Mary of the Lake Parochial School and later graduated from Northwestern High School in Wooster as a member of the Class of 1993.
At the time of his death, Ricky was employed as a truck driver based out of the Cleveland Terminal of Eastern Freightways. He had previously been employed by Ford Motor Company’s Ohio Truck Plant in Avon as well as by the Seven-Up Bottling Company where he served as a route delivery salesman throughout greater Lorain County.
A member of the Amherst Eagles Club, Mr. Stull enjoyed motorcycles, dirt bike, and four wheelers.
He is survived by his son Brenden A. Stull of Elyria, father Richard W. Stull, Sr. and step-mother Susan (nee Luyster) Stull of Medina, mother Susan Susie Nowak and step-father Richard A. Nowak of Elyria, brothers Ethan Stull and Austin Stull both of Medina, step-sister Lisa Nelson of San Diego, California, step-brother Neil Nelson of Lorain, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 7:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel and will be followed by the celebration of his funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Catholic Church of Saint Peter, 3501 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. The Reverend Charles Henkle, O.F.M. Conv., Associate Pastor of the parish will preside. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
