Henry A. "Hank" Jude, 71, Family Man, Avid Outdoorsman, A Friend To Many

Henry A. "Hank" Jude, age 71, of Lorain, died Monday December 3, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Jude was born in Martin County, Kentucky, on April 12, 1936 and moved to Lorain in 1954.

He was employed as a ship-fitter for the American Shipbuilding Company of Lorain until the time of the plant's closing in mid 1985. He returned to his native Kentucky where he secured employment as a coal miner and worked there in the common wealth until the time officially retired; he ultimately returned to Lorain in 1995.

Hank was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed coon hunting and suirrel hunting.

Survivors include his son Try Jude of Lagrange and his wife Cindy, stepsons Jimmy Pinkerton of Lorain and his wife Tori, Bobby Pinkerton of Lorain, and David Pinkerton of Berlin Heights and his wife Rosie, fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, sisters Angeline Jude and Linda Gay Whitt both of Inez, Kentucky, and Darlene Borders of Barstow, California, along with numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon (nee McNeely) a daughter Evannia M. MacMillan, by his parents Pearl and Nancy (nee Arrwood) Jude, by a sister Etta Mae Moore, and by brothers Charles Wheatley Jude and Link Ronald Jude.
