Danne R. Davison, Jr., 15, Firelands High School Student

He was born August 12, 1992 in Lorain and had resided in Wellington for the past 10 years.

Danne was a freshman at Firelands High School. He enjoyed art and in 2006 entered the Scholastic Art & Writing contest through Lorain County Community College. His self-portrait earned him the Gold Key Award and state honors and qualified him for the National Arts Association in New York.

Danne enjoyed making movies and wanted to move to California and become a movie director. He enjoyed art, music and video games.

He is survived by his parents Danne & Traci Davison (nee Stimac), sister Danielle Davison at home, maternal grandmother Mary Jo Stimac (nee Kilbane) of Sheffield Lake, paternal grandparents Richard & Barbara Davison of Sheffield Village and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Thomas Stimac.

The family will receive friends Thursday 2-9 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 AM at Harvest Ridge Assembly of God, 35600 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville. The Rev. Kevin Crow, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
