Hazel Eva Vincent, 95, Member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church
Hazel Eva Vincent (nee Nieding), 95 of Vermilion, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 14, 1912 in Vermilion and had also lived in Avery, OH moving back to Vermilion in 1963. She had worked at Ben Franklin in Vermilion.
She was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church where she had been active in many functions of the church including the Merry Makers. She also enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include her sister, Mary Yunker of Lorain; brother, David Nieding of Lakewood; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Eber Vincent; parents, David and Amelia (nee Hahn) Nieding; sisters, Grace Beal and Alice Mercer, and brother, Russell Nieding.
Friends may call Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008 at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. Nick Cacciatore, pastor of the Vermilion Evangelical & Reformed Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
