Eileen V. Kuhar, 81, LPN at St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain
Eileen V. Kuhar (nee Ardo), 81, of Lorain, died Saturday March 8, 2008 at the home of her son Mark after a long illness.
She was born September 3, 1926 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Eileen was a graduate of Lorain High School. She attended the St. Joseph School of Practical Nursing in Lorain graduating in 1974. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital for 17 years retiring in 1991.
Eileen was a member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Lorain. She enjoyed dancing.
She is survived by her sons Michael W. Kuhar of Elyria, William J. Kuhar of Wakeman and Mark J. Kuhar of Lorain, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Theresa Ardo (nee Bors) and brother Lester L. Ardo.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Rev. James Schmitz pastor of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Lorain will officiate.
A reception will be held in the funeral chapel at the conclusion of the memorial service.
