Among the survivors are his son Roberto Ortiz of Lorain; daughter Tessi Hernandez of Lorain; brothers Angel Luis, Elizer, Raul and Domingo Ortiz all of Lorain, Antonio Ortiz of Coamo and Luis Angel of Richmond, Virginia; sisters Gladys and Raquel Ortiz both of Coamo and Miriam Robles of Cleveland; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Rev. Willy Nieves will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.

The family asks for memorial contributions be made to the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, Lorain Ohio 44055 to help offset funeral expenses.
