Linda D. Chambers, 55, Worked at Ray's Memory Lane
Linda D. Chambers (nee Tenorio), 55, of Lorain, died Wednesday March 26, 2008 at Lake Pointe Health Center in Lorain.
She was born January 4, 1953 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Linda worked as a cook and bartender at Ray’s Memory Lane in Lorain for over 27 years.
She was a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church in Lorain and she enjoyed sewing, re-upholstering, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Pedro Moralez, Theresa Moralez, Christina Church and Ruben Hance, Jr, all of Lorain, grandchildren Charles Denney III, Christian Denney, Henry Church, Jr and Drake Hance, all of Lorain, mother Irene Kissi (nee Szatala) of Lakeland, Florida, brothers Mario Tenorio of Virginia, Cedric Tenorio of Indiana, Carlos Tenorio of Winston, Florida, Hugo Tenorio and Adelbert Tenorio, both of Lorain and Brandon Flagner of Ohio and sisters Sara Tenorio of Manhatten Beach, California and Cinthia Tenorio-Feldkamp of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father Albert Tenorio in 1979 and brother Albert Tenorio.
The family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Closing prayers will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. at Community Missionary Baptist Church, 617 W. 24th St., Lorain. The Rev. Rufus Buchanan and the Rev. Henry Church, Linda’s son-in-law, will co-officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
