Edward "Eddie" Dudasik, 86, Pipe Fitter at US Steel
Edward Eddie Dudasik, 86, passed away on Sunday April 27, 2008. He had lived in Lorain for about 60 years and moved to Lakeland, Florida where he resided until his death.
Eddie was a retired master pipe fitter at US Steel in Lorain. He served with the US Army during World War II.
Eddie was born in Lorain, Ohio, son of the late John and Rozalia Dudasik (nee Caso). He was preceded in death by his sisters Anne Holp and Helen Hall, brothers John Dudasik and Emil Dudasik and niece Marilyn Ash (nee Holp). He is survived by his nephew James Dudasik of Elyria and great niece Kathy Long of Imperial Beach, California.
James Dudasik would like to thank his caregivers Tom and Terry Heathwole for his special care that they provided.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 611 Lake Ave., Elyria. The Rev. Albert Krupp, pastor, will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
