Betty Reisinger, 82, Lorain High School Class of 1943B Graduate

She was born in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Lorain High School with the class of 1943B.

In the past, she enjoyed playing golf and was an avid duplicate bridge player, achieving the level of Life Master. Most recently she liked to read, put together puzzles, walk her beloved dog Cody, and bake cookies.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Stratton of Lorain, Jill (Randy) Sanders of South Bloomingville, Ohio and Jan (Guie) Lewis of Powell, Ohio;her granddaughter Alexis Marquet of Madison, Wisconsin and grandson Elliot Marquet of Athens, Ohio; a sister Colleen Krueck of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John (Jack) Charles in 2002, parents Carrie May Cathers (nee: Plumb) and George Ivan Cathers; and her sister Rena (Donald) Schultz.

There will be no visitation or service. There will be a private burial at Ridge Hill Memorial Park. In her memory, donations may be made to the Lorain Public Library, 6th and Reid Ave., Lorain, OH 44052.
