Fernando DelValle, 81, Enjoyed Farming and Construction
Fernando DelValle, age 81 of Utuado, Puerto Rico went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 4, 2008 after a short illness while visiting Lorain.
He was born in Canobanas, Puerto Rico June 12, 1927. He moved from Puerto Rico to Lorain in 1953. He retired from Ford’s Brookpark Plant in 1979 and returned to Puerto Rico.
Fernando was a member of Templo Emmanuel where he was a deacon and a trustee before relocating to Puerto Rico. Fernando was now a member of Iglesia Pentecostal Salvacion y Vida, Inc. in Utuado, Puerto Rico where he was a Sunday School teacher. He enjoyed farming and construction.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Digna R. DelValle (nee Pagan). Survivors also include Lemuel DelValle of Stow, Abigail Rivera of Amherst, Gerson DelValle of Utuado, Puerto Rico, Rosalie DelValle of Levitown, Puerto Rico and Rafael Mateo of Utuado, Puerto Rico. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Lemuel A. DelValle, Gabriela DelValle, Aileen Rivera and Fernando Rivera.
He was preceeded in death by his first wife, Ignacia Romero, his parents and many brothers and sisters
Friends may call on Monday, July 8, 2008 from 4pm to 8 pm at Templo Emmanuel. There will be a service at 6:30 pm. He will be taken to Puerto Rico for burial on Tuesday, July 9, 2008.
