Frances M. Greenwood, 67, Lorain Resident Since 1976
Frances M. Greenwood, 67, (nee Hayes) of Lorain, died on Monday, July 21, 2008 at the New Life Hospice Center at St. Joseph in Lorain following a long illness.Mrs. Greenwood was born in Bellaire, Ohio on May 27, 1941, the daughter of Thomas and Alice Hayes (nee Wyeth). She is a graduate of Bellaire High School and moved to Lorain in 1976.
She was a homemaker that enjoyed shopping, flea markets, and garage sales.
She is survived by her husband Harry R. Greenwood, SR, a son Thomas N. Greenwood, Sr of Lorain, her father Thomas Hayes of Bellaire, granddaughter Alicia Garzia, grandson Thomas N. Greenwood, Jr and a great granddaughter Jade Garzia.
She was preceded in death by her son Harry R. Greenwood, Jr in 1986, her mother Alice Hayes, (nee Wyeth) and a sister Mary Margaret Hodorski. Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 1:00 PM in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst. The Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
