Julia J. "Jean" Yanc, 66, Elyria Resident Since Childhood
Julia J. “Jean” Yance (nee Kinney), 66, of Elyria, died Monday, July 21, 2008 at her home after a short illness.She was born November 5, 1941 in Washington, Pennsylvania and had resided in the Elyria area since childhood.
She is survived by her son Joseph C. Yance and his wife Shell of Elyria, daughter Lisa Nickeson of Lorain, mother Julia Kinney (nee Strnisha) of Lorain, 3 granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Yance in 2001, father George Kinney and brother George Kinney.
Private family funeral services will be held. The Rev. Bob Daugherty will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
