Lillian A. Easterday-Wilson, 85, Assembler at Stanadyne in Elyria
Lillian A. Easterday-Wilson (nee Kokotylo), 85, of Elyria, died Friday July 25, 2008 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a long illness.
She was born July 4, 1923 in Penfield, Ohio and had resided in Elyria most of her life. She had previously lived in Lorain and Wellington.
Lillian worked as an assembler at Stanadyne in Elyria. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Elyria. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Adams (nee Easterday) of Elyria, stepdaughters Mrs. David (Kathleen) Macgregor of Lorain and Mrs. Wesley (Patricia) Dorsey of Canon City, Colorado, grandchildren Kristine Ingersoll (nee Kiedrowski) of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. David (Karol) Peltz (nee Kiedrowski) of Lorain, Stephanie Standen of Elyria, Christopher Dorsey and wife Melanie of Littleton, Colorado and Daniel Adams of Elyria and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Wilson on January 18, 1994, parents Jacob and Mary Kokotylo (nee Skolnicki), brothers Peter Kokotylo and Sam Tylo and sisters Wanda Franks, Nancy Kordeleski and Rose Lindner.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. John Slatcoff, deacon of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elyria Township, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
