Dale R. Glass, 55, Machine Operator at Rose Metal in Cleveland
Dale R. Glass, 55, of Cleveland, died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland after a long illness.He was born September 7, 1952 in Lorain and had resided in Cleveland for the past 20 years moving from Lorain.
Dale was a graduate of Southview High School in Lorain. He worked as a machine operator for 25 years at Rose Metal Industries in Cleveland.
Dale enjoyed his pet dogs, being outside, family activities and woodworking.
He is survived by his daughter Mrs. Tim (Heidi) Kelling, son Jeffrey Glass and daughter Amy Glass, all of Sheffield Lake, daughter Sarah Glass of Avon Lake, grandchildren Caitlynn, Marissa, Genesis, Aurora, Danny and Cayden, father Donald R. Glass, Sr. and his wife Dee of Palm Coast, Florida, sister Mrs. Richard E. (Diana) Pierce of Avon Lake, brother Donald R. Glass, Jr. and his wife Vicky of Vermilion and his dogs Chubs and No Name. He was preceded in death by his mother Rosemary P. Glass (nee Gressler) in 1990.
The family will receive friends Friday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The family will give personal reflections on Friday at the close of viewing.
