Thomas S. Bartlebaugh, 50, An Avid Sports Fan
Thomas S. Bartlebaugh, 50, of Lorain, died Thursday August 14, 2008 at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 25, 1958 in Lorain and had resided in Lorain most of his life. He had lived in Denver, Colorado for 8 years before moving back to Lorain.
Tom was a graduate of Lorain High School. He worked as an assembler at Riddell All American in Elyria. He was a past member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain.
Tom was an avid sports fan and enjoyed reading, music and camping.
He is survived by his father Virgil Bartlebaugh, Jr. of Lorain, sisters Leslie Gede of Amherst and Lynn Delili and husband Charles of Amherst, brother Brian Bartlebaugh and wife Michelle of Lorain and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan C. Bartlebaugh (nee Terschak) in 2004.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-9 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Private family funeral services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
