Mary Ann Shaw, 67, Enjoyed Traveling
Mary Ann Shaw (nee Ignatko), 67, of Inverness, Florida, formerly of Lorain, died on August 22, 2008 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida, following a brief illness.
She was born on September 4, 1940 in Lorain where she lived for over 40 years, moving to reside in Vermilion for 10 years and in Florida for the past 10 years.
She graduated from Clearview High School and worked as an inspector for TRW Nelson Stud, retiring in 1996. Since her retirement, she was active in a variety of activities in her community and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 30 years, Scott Shaw; daughter, Lynnette (Michael) O'Keefe; sons, Lenny (Teresa) Ambrosio of Martinsburg, West Virginia and Mark (Liz) Ambrosio of Lorain; grandchildren, Joey, Jared, Jack, Matthew, Amanda, Anna, Aaron, Madison and Arianna; step-sons, Chris and Jeff Shaw; sister, Betty (Dick) Yepko of Lorain.
She was preceded-in-death by her parents, Carl and Mary (nee Clotz) Ignatko and a brother, Carl Ignatko.
Friends may call on Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 11:00-1:00 pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, with a reception to follow.
