James J. Frisina, 60, Vietnam Veteran, Enjoyed Sailing

James J. Frisina died unexpectedly on Thursday September 4, 2008 of natural causes.

He was an Amherst/Lorain area resident all of his life.

Jimmy graduated from Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst in 1967. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at US Steel in Lorain for many years.

He was active with the Vietnam Veterans in Lorain County and was a member of the Mid-Century Masonic Lodge in Lorain.

Jimmy loved the lake and enjoyed sailing. He was a good friend to all and had a heart of gold.

He is survived by his father John Frisina of Vermilion, mother MJ Frisina (nee Larson) of Vermilion, sister Kathleen Nord and husband Richard of Vermilion and 2 loving cats.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
