Vallia J. Padilla, 70, Enjoyed Gardening
Vallia J. Padilla, 70, (nee Cassetta), of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Community Health Partners Regional Medical Center in Lorain following a brief illness.
Mrs. Padilla was born in Lorain on October 15, 1937, the daughter of the late Nicholas T. Cassetta and Florence C. (nee Saltis) Cassetta Temple.
She worked at Buck's Tavern for 20 plus years retiring in 1988.
Mrs. Padilla enjoyed gardening, tending to her pets, and collectables.
She is survived by a daughter Doreen E. (Al) Agard of Riverview, FL. grandsons Jason Agard, Shaun Agard, and Bryan Agard, sisters Sandra J. (Donald) Bennett of Fort Myers, FL., Donna J. (Donald) Whitehead of Crystal River, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father Samuel F. Temple.
Friends may call Sunday, September 14, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals 1124 W. Fifth St, Lorain.
Funeral Services will be Monday, September 15, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Edward J. Luca, officiating.
Burial will be in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township.
