Ilene F. Berry, 66, Enjoyed Sewing and Embroidery

Ilene was a graduate of Lorain High School and went on to attend both Lorain County Community College and Ashland College.
She was a parishioner of Saint John Roman Catholic Church in Lorain whose hobbies included sewing, embroidery, and quilting. Additional interests included watching television mysteries, puzzle books, and playing bingo at venues throughout the area.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-one years Nelson, by sons Scott Bennington and his wife Debbie residing in Columbus, and Adam Bennington of Avon, daughters Hope Settie and her husband Todd of Lorain, and Amanda Mindy Berry also of Lorain, along with eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Bennington, and by her parents Frank and Pauline (nee Matty) Wisneski.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Reverend Thomas Smith, Pastor of Saint John Roman Catholic Church presiding. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
