Daisy Gonzalez, 48, Enjoyed Spanish & Jazz Music

She was born November 17, 1959 in Lorain. She moved with her family to Pinellas Park in 1975 She returned to Lorain in 1977. She graduated from Southview High School in 1978.

Daisy retired in 2004 as an assistant case worker for the Lorain County Family and Jobs Service.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church Lorain. She loved her cats. Daisy enjoyed Spanish and Jazz music. She also liked to read and go to the movies.

Daisy's memory will be cherished by her family, including her father Manuel Antonio Gonzalez of Elyria; brothers Manuel Antonio Gonzalez, Jr. of Elyria, Freddy Gonzalez of Lorain and David Gonzalez of Saint Petersburg, Florida; sisters Leida Gonzalez – Huey of Frisco, Texas, and Elsie Garcia of Amherst Township and many nieces, nephews aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her mother Nereida "Nellie" Gonzalez (nee Figueroa) last year, and a sister Santita Figueroa Gonzalez.

A mass to celebrate Daisy's memory will be Saturday, October 25, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain.
