Roldan Vazquez, 44, Elyria Foundry Co. Grinder Chipper
Roldan Vazquez, 44 of Lorain died Sunday, October 19, 2008 in his home following a brief illness.
He was born November 7, 1963 in Lorain. He was a life long resident. Roldan graduated from Southview High School in 1982.
He was working for The Elyria Foundry Company as a grinder chipper.
He played basketball on the Southview Saints team. He enjoyed being with his family.
He will be missed by his sons Robert L. Vazquez-Rivas and Anthony Vazquez both of Lorain; his mother Laura E. Vazquez of Lorain; brothers Hercules "Teddy" and Enoch Vazquez both of Lorain; sisters Ada Lebron, Selinda "Sela" Vazquez-Ward and Lalila Vazquez all of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his father Teodoro Vazquez in 1999; sisters Dalia "TITI" Vazquez last year and an infant sister Dalila Vazquez in 1959.
His family will receive friends Friday, October 24, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Robert Roldan Youth minister will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
