Becky Kosakowski, 45, Enjoyed the Cleveland Browns and Cooking
Becky Kosakowski (nee Zaebst), 45, of Lorain, died Thursday October 23, 2008 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home in Lorain after a lengthy illness.She was born February 16, 1963 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Becky graduated from Admiral King High School in Lorain in 1981 and attended Lorain County Community College where she received and Associate Degree in Business Administration.
Becky was the manager of the former Wendy’s Restaurant on Cooper Foster Park Road in Lorain and then worked at First Merit Bank in Lorain as a teller.
She was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed all sports. She was an excellent homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking and was a wonderful aunt.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years Jim Kosakowski, mother Sandra Zaebst (nee Schulz) of Elyria, sister Mrs. Tim (Tina) Harr of Olmsted Township and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Reg Zaebst in 1995.
Private family services were held Monday in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Jimmy Madsen, pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lorain, officiated. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery in Amherst.
