Jeanette M. Chrulski, 98, Enjoyed Gardening and Baking

Photo of Jeanette M. Chrulski Jeanette M. Chrulski (nee Urbanski), 98, of Sheffield Township, died Friday October 31, 2008 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home in Lorain.

She was born October 12, 1910 in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania and had resided in the Lorain and Sheffield Township areas most of her life. She was a graduate of Lorain High School.

Jeanette was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elyria Township and the church Altar & Rosary Society. She enjoyed gardening and baking.

She is survived by her son John C. “Jack” Chrulski and wife Marlene of Lorain, daughter-in-law Jean Chrulski of Vermilion, grandchildren James Chrulski and wife Mally of Hutchinson Island, Florida, David Chrulski and wife Gwen of Vermilion, Tim Chrulski and wife Christine of North Baltimore, Ohio and Mrs. Mark (Mary Jo) McQuaide of Lorain, great grandchildren Neil Vislosky, Gauge Settlemeyer, Joshua Chrulski, Tyler Chrulski, Tiffany McQuaide, Harleyann McQuaide and Kenneth Chrulski and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester Chrulski in 1993, son Dr. Edward Chrulski in 1978, sister Alice Cornell and brothers Raymond Urbanski, Dr. Walter Urbanski and Leo Urbanski.

The family will receive friends Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10:30 a.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1454 Lexington Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Robert J. Glepko, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
