Juan Rodriguez-Vincent, 84, Enjoyed Horse Racing
Juan Rodriguez-Vicente, 84 of Lorain, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 in his daughter’s home in Lorain following a Lengthy illness.He was born July 26, 1924 in Guayma, Puerto Rico. He lived there all of his life until moving here to Live with his daughter in Feb. 2005.
Juan worked in Guayma in various grocery stores as a clerk. He enjoyed horse racing and playing the lottery. He loved entertaining his family and friends with his sharp wit and humor.
He will be sadly missed by his sons, Juan Rodriguez of Guayma and Antonio Rodriguez of Youngstown; his daughters, Ilumunada Rodriguez of Guayma and Elva Rodriguez of Lorain; brother, Rafael Rodriguez of Lorain; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gregorio Rodriguez and Carmen Vicente; a son Reinaldo Rodriguez in 2006; a brother Gilberto Rodriguez and a sister Monserrate Rodriguez.
His family will receive friends Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. He will be taken to Funeraria San Pedro in Guayma, Puerto Rico for funeral services and burial in Interar Cementerio in Guayma.
