Mary Jane Lindner, 77, Enjoyed Cooking and Baking
Mary Jane Lindner (nee Andrews), 77, of Lorain, died Thursday Jan. 1, 2009 at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria.She was born Aug. 16, 1931 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Mary Jane worked as a cashier at Meyer Goldberg and Sparkle Market. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lorain and enjoyed cooking and baking.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Richard Lindner, sons: Thomas Lindner of Wellington and Terrence Lindner and Timothy Lindner, both of Elyria, grandchildren Matthew Russeau, Christopher Lindner, Richard Lindner, Jaryn Lindner and Andrew Lindner and sister Julie Andrews of Avon Lake.
She was preceded in death by an infant son Christopher Lindner, parents Thomas & Alvine Andrews (nee Fischer) and brothers Ralph Andrews, William Andrews and Frank Andrews.
The family will receive friends Sunday 3-6 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Kevin Saylor, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Lorain, will preside. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
