Marianne Zaborniak, 75, Enjoyed Camping and Fishing

Photo of Marianne Zaborniak Marianne Zaborniak (Nee Lopachick) age 75, of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2009 at her home.

She was born May 8, 1933 and resided in Lorain all her life.

Mrs. Zaborniak graduated from Lorain High School Class of 1951-B and a graduate of the, City Hospital of Cleveland, School of Nursing in 1954 as a registered nurse. She retired in 1990 from at St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain in 1990. She enjoyed camping, gardening, and loved fishing.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Stanley Zaborniak of Lorain; sons Richard, and Robert Zaborniak both of Lorain and Raymond Zaborniak, Woodstock, GA; daughter Kathleen Torres of Lorain; sister Sally Gabrie of North Ridgeville and four grandsons; nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Julia (nee Justin) Lopachick. Step father Michael Kowalchyk; and a grandson Stanley.

Her family will receive friends Thursday Jan. 15, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. until time of mass at 11 a.m. in Saint Stanislaus Church, East 28th Street and Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Fr. David A. Novak, parish administrator will officiate.
