Linnie Lee Skaggs, 92, Enjoyed Sewing and Crocheting

Photo of Linnie Lee Skaggs Linnie Lee Skaggs (nee Taylor), age 92 of Boiling Springs, SC, formerly of Lorain, died Sunday Jan. 18, 2009 in Spartanburg Regional Hospice Center after a long illness.

She was born Nov. 17, 1916 in Myrtle, MS, and lived in the Lorain area for 25 years before moving to Boiling Springs in 2000.

She belonged to Tower Blvd. Baptist Church in Lorain, and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crocheting.

Mrs. Skaggs is survived by her husband of 44 years Albert L., a son Forest Williams of Sandusky, OH, and a daughter Wilma Custer of Euclid, OH., six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Ruby Taylor, brothers James (Red), and Boyce Taylor, and an infant sister Mary Lorane Taylor.

Friends may call Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway Lorain. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Gary Dorsey will officiate. Entombment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
