David L. Black, 72, Avid Boating Enthusiast

Mr. Black was born in Lorain on Sept. 8, 1936, the son of the late Louis and Edna M. (nee Tellman) Black. He was a graduate of Lorain High School. He was an avid boating enthusiast.
He worked as a marine mechanic at Beaver Park Marina in Lorain for more than 30 years. He had worked for Fritz's Garage many years ago.
Mr. Black is survived by a sister Joyce (David) Beckler of Berlin Heights, several nieces, nephews and lots and lots of friends.
Friends may call Friday, Jan. 23, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009 in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Rev. Kelly Clemens, pastor of the Florence Congregational Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Amherst Township, OH.
