Virginia Louise Day, 79, Enjoyed Caring for Her Pet Dog
Ms. Day was born in Hammond, Indiana on Dec. 29, 1929, the daughter of the late Leonard and Edith Day.She moved to Lorain as a child. She attended Lorain High School and was a member of Church of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Ms. Day was a retired supervisor at former American Crucible in Lorain. She enjoyed caring for her pet dog.
She is survived by her friend and caregiver Mary Ann Stanton of Amherst as well as many other friends and former co-workers.
Memorial services for Virginia Louise Day, 79, of Sheffield Township will be Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. Father Charles Henkle, associate pastor of the Church of St. Peter will officiate. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
