Clara L. Johnson, 90, Loved her Pets

She was born in Lorain on April 8, 1918. She was a graduate of Lorain High School in 1936. She resided in Lorain before moving to Avon in 1961.
Clara retired in 1983 as a personnel director from Foundry Equipment Co., Cleveland. She worked there for over 30 years.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Avon; she was also a member and past officer of the Erie Shores Humane Society, Elyria. She loved her pets and enjoyed her garden and making crafts.
Clara will be missed by her sister Jeanette Sebastian of Avon, brother Thomas (Maggie) Johnson of Rocky River, sister in law and care giver Evelyn Johnson of Lorain, nephew and Godson David Johnson and Gerald (Debbie) Johnson of Las Vegas and other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas L. and Anna (nee Herbert) Johnson, sister Rita Johnson and brother Kenneth Johnson.
Clara’s funeral service and burial in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain was Saturday, March 21, 2009. A mass in celebration of her memory will be announced.
