Jacqueline M. Minnich, 52, Enjoyed Bingo and Indoor Plants

Photo of Jacqueline M. Minnich Jacqueline M. Minnich, 52, of Lorain, died Saturday March 21, 2009 at Community Regional Medical Center in Lorain after a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 19, 1956 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Jacqueline graduated from Admiral King High School in Lorain. She worked at Swiger Coils in Cleveland for 5 years wrapping coils for electrical motors. Prior to that she worked at First Siemens in Lorain for 20 years.

Jacqueline was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain. She enjoyed bingo, being outdoors, spending time with her grandchildren and growing indoor plants.

She is survived by her father John E. Minnich of Lorain, daughter Mandy Lopez of Avon, husband of 16 years Jesse Lopez of Lorain, grandchildren Yecelena Lopez, Adrian Lopez and Alicia Vazquez, brothers Dennis Minnich and Robert Minnich, both of Lorain, cousin Sharon Pintur of Lorain, sister-in-law Elvira Lopez and mother-in-law Justa Lopez, both of Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Minnich (nee Kiser).

The family will receive friends Wednesday 4 - 8 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am. The Rev. Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
