Agnes Radick, 85, Enjoyed Dancing and Traveling
Agnes Angie Radick (nee Mitrovics), 85, of Lorain, fell asleep in the Lord Saturday, April 4, 2009 in New Life Hospice Center of Saint Joseph, Lorain.
She was born Oct. 24, 1923 in Duquesne, Pennsylvania. She came to Lorain as a child.
Mrs. Radick retired in 1983 from Moen Stanadyne, Elyria. She worked there for 15 years. She had also worked for Central Bakery in Lorain and during World Was II she worked at National Tube Co, Lorain.
She was an active member of Saint Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Lorain. She was a member of the churches’ Sisterhood and sang in the choir. Mrs. Radick was also a member of United Auto Workers Local 101, Elyria.
She enjoyed astrology, dancing, music, traveling, especially on cruises and taking trips to the casinos, gardening and baking. She shared a wonderful life with her husband and cherished her family unconditionally.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 63 Years George Radick of Lorain and her son Larry Radick of Lorain, her grand daughter Tessa Taylor of Aurora and her great grandchildren Jessica and Alex Taylor both of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mayk and Sava (nee Bosanac) Mitrovics, her son Ken Radick in 2002, brother Mike Zanik and a sister Mary Lukasic.
Her family will receive friends Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, (440) 277 8164. Where, Parastas will be Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Her funeral service will be Friday 10 a.m. in the funeral home. The Very Reverend Fr. Dennis Kristof, pastor of Saint Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church will officiate. Burial will in follow Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township.
